Yummy, Fluffy White Snow
I don't know what it is about kids eating snow but as an adult I think it's disgusting. Even when you tell the kids its nasty some don't care and will eat it anyway. The base ppr is DXWV Spring Stack, the ppr is much more toned down, not that intense. I used Martha Stewart Beach Glass in high gloss and 6x6 Crafter's Workshop Hexagon template. I layered Walnut Grove, BG Konnichiwa and Bazzill Just The Edge III and added my photos on top. I used Picasa to edit my picture using the "Cross Process" filter. The stickers are Glitz Designs, Teeny Alpha in Teal Woodgrain. I used Thickers Poolside, which are vinyl. I made the file tab using scraps of Lily Bee and Jenni Bowlin File Tab punch.
Hello, Dream Today
Captured this last fall, love the picture of Gabs attempting to bite the balloon, she had so much fun that day. The base ppr is Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic, I used the die cuts from the Dear Lizzy.
Bonus Layout:
Cabbage Patch
This is one of Studio Calico Sunday Sketches I found from a member on Scrapbook.com today that I figured I'd give a try. It was just Gabby and I yesterday and I got bored so I started snapping pictures of her playing with Farrah's Cabbage Patch doll. She didn't really cooperate to the degree I wanted her to but I still like the pictures. I think I used the "1960's" Filter in Picasa to edit the photo. The base ppr is Heidi Swapp Remember, and the 2 squares were made out of Crate Paper Lil Bo Peep. I used scraps of Sassafrass, DCWV and Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic. The hearts are Melody Ross Chip Art and the colored ones are felt I got from Target last year. The red sticker and pink alpha are Crate Paper Fourteen, the aqua letters are Thickers Patchwork and the gray stickers are October Afternoon.
Great scrappy start to the New Year!
