Delightful

Day 4 of my vacation and I have finally completed this layout. Remember I couldn't decide on a title right? Well I was in Michael's today about to purchase a pack of Recollections butterfly stamps called "Delightful". Surprisingly they were on clearance for $4.99. I stood in the aisle for a while trying to remember that I'd already purchased them before. Don't you hate that? So after picking them up and putting them down and asking my kids if I had them I decided to put them back and look for them @ home. Low and behold I did have them so no worries. The only issue I have with these cling stamps is that they don't stick well.

I don't have any journaling about this picture of Farrah taken last month I believe. I can't believe she is 8 though; she is growing up quickly. She loves to sing, create and dance and debate LOL.

In other news, I took Gabby for her 4 year old check up. She is doing well and developing on track. So she was going over the eye chart and got everyone correct but when the nurse got to the "hand" she yelled out "FRIES". Come to think of it the hand picture did look like a pack of french fries.

The sticky, icky (the process)
For the picture I used the "1960's" filter. I'm really loving it. For once I DID NOT USE MY SIGNATURE PINK!! It took me out of my comfort zone. My base paper is Basic Gray Flutter from P B & J line. I didn't use alot of ppr on this one but I used both sides of the ppr. Then I stamped with Staz On Jet Black. I got the stamp from Michael's months ago, now you can get it on clearance from $1.99. Then I punched, yes punched all the butterflies from 3 different Martha Stewart butterfly stamps. Classic butterfly, 3 in 1 Classic butterfly and Regal Butterfly are some of my faves that I used on this layout. I used pop dots to adhere them to the page. I then used Tattered Angels in Dragonfly and Shimmerz in Tuscan Sun. I stamped the title and flowers on a sheet from Lily Bee Buttercup and trimmed them out. I added the Thickers in Rainboots and a brad from Basic Gray Urban Prairie line and I was done. PS I can't promise that I will be using color's other than pink but I will try.
