Then they decided to roll down the hill...Their destination was a pile of leaves but didn't quite make it in the pile but off to the left of it.
Here are a few layouts that I've created in the last few weeks:
Hello Fall:
To celebrate the start of fall I decided to use these awesome pictures of the kids playing in the leaves. The leaves were very pretty and they had alot of fun diving in the piles. Gabby cried a bit as she can be a tad sensitive but overall it was fun and the weather was nice. The base paper is KaiserCraft Base Coat Collection in Distressed. The paper strips are Crate Paper Close Knit, the bird card is Basic Grey, the smaller stickers are Glitz Teeny Alpha, the Thickers are Boardwalk. The card to the left is We R Memory Keepers Albums Made Easy. The small tags are from Close Knit ephemera.
Lol: Living Doll. First off my children can be really silly. We were watching a show about living dolls and Farrah asks so innocently "I wonder if his head can turn around like a doll????" I said Farrah he's still human not a doll. Then she said "Well it said "a living doll"..... I used a bunch of scraps on this one. Not exactly sure about all of them. The dots are American Craft, The flower paper is Maggie Holmes, the brown strip is Summer Fresh by Simple Stories. The heart card is Project Live Kraft kit, the blue stickers are Doodlebug Hopscotch, yellow is October Afternoon and the pink Thickers are Crate Paper Fourteen collection.
Peek: Really simple layout here: Base paper is Echo Park Dots and Stripes Jewels, pictures layered over Heidi Swapp paper, the big card is Project Life Strawberry Collection, the canvas butterfly is Maya Road, the Thickers are Amy Tan Muse and the live, laugh, play is from Simple Stories Summer Fresh and spray is Studio Calico
Down The Hill, before they rolled hand in hand down the hill
: Base paper is Pink Paislee Solstice, Thickers Memo stickers, Project Life Enjoy Life cards, Project Life Strawberry cards, Colorshine Navy spray, Recollections wood butterfly
Love Happy and Pure: You are happiest when you love pure
Base paper is Maggie Holmes Style Board, flower paper block is Amy Tan Ready Set Go, heart card is We R Memory Keepers Albums Made Easy. Large tag is Recollections, enamel dots are Teresa Collins, Hearts are Studio Calico wood veneers, light blue Thickers, white Thickers and small blue stickers October Afternoon.
Oh Wow Really? Gabby had this weird dream of a brown headed skeleton, breathing blue fire, the body was cheetah, pink arms, green legs, blue feet on fire...Not sure where she got it from but I'm sure it was a culmination of different scary movies.
I do have several more but these were really fun to do so I shared them with you. Hope you all are staying warm and toasty and happy crafting!
You are the Queen of mixing patterns and colors!
ReplyDeleteThanks Doreena, but I've learned from alot of you and I guess I'm not ashamed to just mix and go with it :)
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic! Love that you told the whole story on the 2nd one and photo of your daughter is perfect there. Love the hearts and title on the last one. The title grabbed my attention and it has a great story too. Great layouts!
ReplyDeleteLove ALL your layouts! They are so pretty.
